Cyprus Weather

The sunniest island in the Mediterranean, Cyprus enjoys an almost constant climate with year round sun, with almost everyday being fine and dry. Extremes of temperature are rare on Cyprus, and even in the height of summer when temperatures reach over 90°F you'll find cooler, soothing weather inland toward the mountainous Troodos.

Summer begins in early May and extends right the way through into October, meaning it is warm enough, almost every day of the year, to enjoy a dip in the sea and a day by the pool.

Even in winter you'll find an average of six hours a day of sunshine in Cyprus, rising quickly once Spring begins in March, with temperatures quickly reaching 70°F during the daytime. The cooler months of January and February bring with them the most chance of rain, although it is unlikely that any stay in Cyprus will be without its fair share of sunshine.
